This is an unusual and exuberantly detailed partially quilled vest from the late 19th C. There is some traces of yellow stain on the hide. The quillwork is excellent with very minor loss. The hide has puckered but it is not generally stiff although it has been stored for a long time causing wrinkles next to the sides. This is a very visual piece and is a worthy addition to one's collection.
